Artefact is a new concept in culture creation. The Artefact Institute is a collective of artists and crafters and thinkers who work with partipants on a technical level to create new, live, immersive experiences involving liturgy, visual art, music, literature, storytelling, architecture, craft, and conviviality. Artefact experts can teach you the "how" of Christian Culture in the same program as we discuss the "why". Why should I attend? At Artefact Louisville you will have an experience that will help you to understand how to create culture in your own community and family. You will connect deeply with fellow participants, bonding while creating something truly beautiful, to the Glory of God. Building on the foundation of deep and meaningful discussion that the Climacus Conference became known for, you will get to talk in detail about why culture creation is important, and why specific elements are essential. Then, uniquely, you will get to put those words into action by bringing into reality the subject of your discussions. Your enjoyment of these elements will be enhanced by your new intimate understanding of the technique used to create them. And the significance of the technique will be all the more clear. You will engage with leaders in the liturgical arts, including musicians, writers, pastors, architects, designers, craftsmen, event coordinators, and public speakers. It will be a place to get inspired and learn about the best art, ideas, and resources in the American Orthodox Christian community, whether you are an Orthodox Christian yourself or not. This conference will bring you closer to your fellow brothers and sisters as you learn important practical community building techniques and you put those techniques into action. We encourage participants to attend with friends or family so as to share this profound experience. What does my Artefact event ticket include?
