A showing a discussion of the documentary Ordinary People, Extraordinary Courage: Men and Women of the Underground Railroad. Held in observance of African-American History Month, this film explores the lives of the men and women in the New Albany area who participated in the underground railroad as escaped slaves and abolitionists in this revolutionary movement to undermine the institution of slavery in America. This film and discussion will be presented by the Carnegie Center for Art and History.
