This workshop is for you!! - Movement Strategy and Considerations for Pregnancy and Postpartum - Developing a Growth Mindset for the Motherhood Transition - Common Pelvic Floor Symptoms and Dysfunctions - Optimal Nutrition for Getting Pregnant, Nourishing Mom and Baby and for Breastfeeding and Recovering from Birth - Preview of Workout for Upcoming Prenatal and Postnatal Fitness 6 week series Workshop Presenters Include: Lindsay Carter, Certified Prenatal and Postnatal Coach, BirthFit Coach, NASM CPT, CF Coach Lindsay is passionate about partnering with women of all a ages and abilities. She is the mother of three children, ages 14, 11, and 9 with a baby on the way. After struggling with postpartum issues like diastasis recti and pelvic floor dysfunction, she sought out healing through pelvic floor therapy and training methods that helped create a more functional and stronger core. Lindsay desires to help other woman receive the knowledge and support to train for pregnancy and postpartym and progress back into fitness in a way that is honoring to her body. Emily Bickers, DPT, OCS  Emily is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS), a certification from the Federation of the State Board of Physical Therapy (FSBPT), which requires a rigorous residency program. In 2016, Emily transitioned her focus to pelvic pain and dysfunction in male and female patients while continuing to incorporate her orthopedic skills into her patients’ care. Emily continues her education by working towards becoming a Board Certified Women’s Health Specialist (WCS). She is a member of the Indiana Physical Therapy Association (INAPTA), American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Section on Women’s Health (SOWH), and Orthopaedic Section of the APTA. Tarah Chieffi, MSHNE Tarah Chieffi received her Master of Science in Health and Nutrition Education from Hawthorn University in 2015, where she wrote her thesis on the importance of preconception nutrition. She has since led various nutrition coaching groups, worked with clients one-on-one to enjoy a healthy lifestyle using nutritious, whole foods. Tarah is also the author of 4 Weeks to Wellness and The 4 Weeks to Wellness Cookbook. She loves cooking, reading, all things Disney, and outdoor adventures with her family.
